Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of www.vlegalservices.in, the client portal and the services you obtain from V Legal Services, a proprietorship of Mr. Suresh Kumar R ("V Legal", "we", "us"). By using the website or the portal, or by accepting the Client Portal Agreement when you first sign in, you agree to these Terms. If you are accepting for a company, firm or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it.

1. Who we are and what we do
- V Legal provides property documentation services: presence-less and regular document registration support through TNREGINET, Bank MOD and discharge registration support, document drafting assistance, Encumbrance Certificate (EC) and Certified Copy (CC) applications, record collection and follow-up, loan facilitation, and a secure client portal for storing property documents and requesting these services.
- We are not a law firm. Legal opinions and legal advice are given only by an enrolled advocate. Where you request a legal opinion through us, it is given, signed and billed by our associated advocate (presently Adv. Mohan Kumar R) under a separate professional engagement with you; V Legal only collects documents and records and coordinates. See our Disclaimer.
- Government departments (Registration Department, Revenue Department, local bodies) and banks are independent of us. We act on their portals and procedures as they stand and cannot guarantee their timelines or decisions.
2. Portal accounts
- Portal accounts are created by us on request. Your User ID and password are personal; keep them confidential. Anything done through your account, including by staff logins you create, is treated as done by you.
- The account owner may create staff logins with limited roles (Viewer, Uploader, Manager) and choose which projects each can see. You are responsible for your staff's use of the portal and for removing access when they leave. Up to 3 staff logins are free; each additional active staff login is charged at the rate shown in the portal price list.
- Tell us immediately at 73737 35222 if you suspect unauthorised use. We may freeze an account, or any staff login, to protect you or others, or if these Terms are breached.
- You must give true and complete information and keep your contact details current, because verification codes and notices are sent to them.
3. Your documents and content
- You may upload documents to projects. You confirm that you have the right to hold and share every document you upload, that copies are true copies, and that you have informed, and where needed obtained consent from, the people whose personal data appears in them (for example co-owners, buyers, sellers and witnesses).
- Please upload masked Aadhaar (showing only the last four digits) unless a service specifically requires the full number. Do not type full Aadhaar, bank account or card numbers into free-text fields.
- Do not upload anything unlawful, forged, defamatory, obscene, infringing, or containing malware, and do not use the portal to harass anyone or to evade the law. We may remove such content and suspend the account, and we act on lawful orders of courts and government agencies as required by the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules under it.
- You keep ownership of your documents. You grant us permission to store, copy and process them only as needed to run the portal and provide the services you request.
- The portal is a convenience copy. Keep your originals safe; the portal is not a substitute for original title documents.
4. Credits, prices and payment
- Services are paid for with prepaid credits. 1 credit = ₹1 of our service charge. Credits can be used only for V Legal's own services through your account; they are not money, carry no interest, cannot be transferred to another person and cannot be used with any other merchant.
- Prices in the portal price list exclude GST. GST at the applicable rate (currently 18%) is collected when you buy credits, and a tax invoice / receipt showing our GSTIN (33EWCPS3401P2ZA) is issued for every purchase.
- Government charges — stamp duty, registration fees, EC / CC fees, and similar statutory charges — are not part of our service charge. They are payable at actual cost; we tell you the amount before paying on your behalf.
- When you request a service, its credits are held; they are charged when the work is completed and returned if the request is cancelled before work is done. Services priced per unit (per SF number, per year, per schedule, per site, per acre) are charged on actual units; any difference is charged with notice to you in the request.
- Loan facilitation carries a login / processing fee and a success fee calculated on the sanctioned amount, as shown in the price list.
- Where a legal opinion is requested, the advocate's professional fee is shown separately and billed by the advocate directly, not from credits. V Legal's own liaison fee for collecting documents and records and follow-up, if any, is charged in credits.
- Storage: each account includes 1 GB free; storage above that, and view-only share links, are charged at the rates in the price list. Recurring charges are deducted on the 1st of each month.
- We may revise prices for future requests by updating the price list. Credits already held for a request are not affected by later price changes.
- Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Credits Policy.
5. Our responsibilities and limits
- We will perform services with reasonable care and skill, on the basis of the information and documents you provide. We are not responsible for errors caused by incorrect or incomplete information or documents supplied to us.
- We keep the portal secure with industry-standard measures (see our Privacy Policy), but no online system is completely free of risk. We do not promise uninterrupted availability; planned maintenance and outages of government portals or our service providers may occur.
- To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the service charge (excluding GST and government charges) paid for that service, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as loss of profit or opportunity. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
- You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from documents or information you upload without the right to do so, or from your breach of these Terms.
6. Ending the account
- You may close your account at any time by writing to [email protected]. You can download your documents before closure; we keep an export available for 30 days after closure, and then delete your data except records we must keep by law (see the Privacy Policy).
- We may suspend or close an account for breach of these Terms, non-payment, misuse, or on a lawful order, with notice where reasonably possible.
7. Privacy, grievances and changes
- Your personal data is handled under our Privacy Policy. Business clients who upload their own customers' data are also covered by our Data Processing Terms.
- Complaints may be raised with our Grievance Officer.
- We may update these Terms. Material changes will be shown in the portal, and you will be asked to accept the new version before continuing to use it.
8. Law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any non-excludable right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the courts at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction. Electronic acceptance of these Terms is valid under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
